Hi All,
We sadly we have not been able to get on top of Jaxon’s seizures. Jaxon’s medical team have scheduled him in for an overnight EEG in May to see what’s going on and hopefully get a plan moving forward.
It’s been a rough few months for Jaxon, sadly Jaxon was given the wrong strength of his medication, a huge mistake made by the pharmacist. This resulted in more seizures and withdrawal symptoms. Since correcting the error and sourcing his medication from another pharmacy we have noticed less seizures but Jaxon has shown side effects of the increase in meds and a major one being insomnia!
We have not heard about the trial medication and it’s looking more and more like it will not go ahead.
Jaxon is in Grade 2 and still really enjoying school. He loves getting the bus to school and we are very grateful to have the bus service pick him up and drop him off at home.
We have been in the process of exploring wheelchair accessible cars and going through the application process with NDIS. We have been so fortunate to have been able to purchase a Kia Carnival. Now that we have the car, we apply through NDIS to have the car converted so Jaxon can access the car in his wheelchair.
To be honest, we never thought we would ever need a wheelchair accessible car. We had always hoped that one day Jaxon might be able to stand, or maybe take a few steps with support.
Accepting that this may not be his reality has been one of the most painful parts of our journey. This car now represents not only his needs, but the dreams we've quietly had to let go of.
A wheelchair accessible vehicle isn't a luxury it's a lifeline. It means safer travel, easier medical appointments, less physical strain, and a future where Jaxon can stay supported, comfortable, and dignified every time we leave the house.
We hope to have the car converted in 12-18 months. Unfortunately that is the wait time to get the car converted, a big process but will 100% be worth the wait.
From the bottom of our hearts we thank everyone who has helped with the fund, it’s never unnoticed and we will always be forever thankful.
Thanks
Lauren & Matt

TRUSTEES MEETING
Trustees meeting held on Thursday 12 February 2026 was conducted at APM Group Project in Clyde North-
The main discussion took place around the purchase of a brand new Kia Carnivale for both Matt/Lauren to support Jaxon as he gets older and heavier. Young Jaxon is growing up.
Huge thanks to all the volunteers who have worked so hard at the Summerset clean ups which involves removing rubbish, whipper snipping and ride on/tractor mower work on greenfield project sites which has allowed the Trust to fund in part to purchase the new car.
Big thanks to Summerset Aged Care for agreeing to allow this to happen on their sites prior to being developed.
And of course, without the support coming from APM Group this new asset could not have happened. We thank the Directors for their ongoing support
Great news for all concerned!
Have spoken to RM (APM Group HSR) in trying to get a Bunnings Barbeque in the near future. The Trust relationship with South Wantirna is paramount to the success we have achieved.
Rhino steel bins still happening.
Merchandise- To all APM Group people can we make a concerted effort to try and sell all current merchandise available on sites. T Shirts are now available on all APM Group projects.
Matt has organised some JJ Stickers for hard hats/cars and the like which will be available soon.

Vending machines are on all sites. Sales depend on the number of workers at any one time. Once again, another form of fundraising which is creating regular ongoing income for the Trust.
