Jaxon's Journey Bulletin No. 14

Hi All,

We have a busy few months coming up with Jaxon attending a 3-week intensive therapy program through NAPA. This begins end of May so we will update you all on his progress in the next bulletin. Jaxon has also been booked in for an overnight EEG at the Austin hospital at the end of June. This will give us a look at what seizure activity is happening during sleep as we are noticing him waking a lot and jolting in his sleep.

We have been working hard during Physiotherapy to help Jaxon gain some independence. Jaxon can now safely get in and out of his walker which has taken us a year to achieve. Hard work paying off, see video below.

We were lucky enough to go away for the Easter weekend. We enjoyed the time as a family and tried to make it as enjoyable as we could for Jaxon as he was having a rough time with adjusting to new medications.

It is a short update from us, but I am sure we will have more to share next bulletin and hopefully have some good news regarding Jaxon’s EEG results.

Thank you,

Lauren & Matt
